Beyond Fit Deli

Over the summer of 2025, I had the wonderful opportunity to intern as a graphic designer at a local gym called Infinity Fitness. Inside this gym, there is also a food deli aptly named, Beyond Fit Deli. These are two separate companies but are located within the same building and are staffed by the same employees. Both entities are owned and run by Karen Pelt of Magnolia, Arkansas.

It was over the summer that I did a lot of advertisement design work for them, billboards, business cards, brochures, and posters promoting their monthly drinks. Some elements in my designs were drawn using micron pens and photographs of flagship food items is something else that came from my hand. Every element would be brought into photoshop to edit and incoporate in the designs. I would run every draft by staff members to get their feedback as well. The monthly posters is still something I work on even after the summer internship has ended, as well as any design request Ms. Pelt may have.

I have to say I was quite fortunate to have a boss who gave me full creative freedom since Ms. Pelt had complete confidence in my work. Graphic Design is a use it or lose it skill, I am always searching for ways to put it to use. I hope I am able to work with many potential future designers to help better each other's skills.
