In 2025, I developed an interest in photography and photo editing thanks to the need of having to take photographs of my projects at the time. My girlfriend already had a DSLR camera, a Canon Rebel T5 to be exact, with it I took photographs for my California Special project. This brought me to a very important conclusion in my career: I want my very own DSLR camera. Thus I bought a used Canon Rebel T7 on Ebay that was worth around $500 USD, it came with your standard 18-55mm kit lens and a 50mm f1.8 prime lens. Afterwards I won a bid for a 75-300mm telephoto lens for $90, a very good deal overall.

This camera would unlock a whole other world for my career and its designs. For me it's not just a hobby but a very useful skill that I have refined and am still perfecting to this day, but my passion for photography is what keeps me going. Some of my featured examples here are from class projects but are usually taken out of love for photography. Some of my subject matter include landscape, abstract, and wildlife, making sure each photograph is compositionally interesting and the editing process brings out its truest potential. As a graphic designer, I love to incorporate the principles of designs in my photographs as well.

I’m hoping to be able to use these techniques for professional work. There are plenty of amazing photographs that I may be capturing even as you read this entry, when I get to updating this portfolio you will probably see some new ones here. So please be sure to come back later!
